Fabric Art

We have been reading 'Clarice Bean That's Me' by Lauren Child.  We discovered that she doesn't draw her pictures but uses all kinds of materials to make her illustrations.  Katie's mum Pip is fantastic at making things from fabrics she no longer uses like blankets, tablecloths, old shirts; in fact almost anything.  She has shown us some of her wonderful creations and we are inspired to make some of our own.  Watch this space to see what we created.

We read Shel Silverstein's poem 'What's in the Sack'

Mrs Lawson made a sack and we used inference to tell what the items in the sack told us about Mrs Lawson.
